my sunroof has developed a annoying rattle infact it sounds loose. but dosn't appear to be.
rattle goes away when i open the roof but now the weathers getting wetter and colder this is nolonger always possable..

any suggestions as to how to solve this?

Are you sure that the lifting arms have re-connected with the rear of the roof? I've had this rattle after re-fitting the roof. The arms should automatically rise and reconnect but mine don't any more. Cure is to raise and lower the roof after re-fitting.

The housings for the arms are height-adjustable via a couple of allen bolts on their sides. An easy job that should hopefully keep your sunroof tightly shut.

at the moment the rear of the sun roof passangerside moves (jiggles around )on the bracket where as the driverside seem to be held in place a little more firmly.

hadn't noticed any alan bolts for adjusting i'll have to go take a look.

I once had the plastic wind deflector flap rattling around in the slot in front of the roof when it was installed.
