its described as edge protection

944 564 623 02 £10.08 inc vat from Porsche

outer seal

944 564 114 06 £96.86 inc vat

from Porsche

I'm going to order the seal which fits to the upstand on the roof aperture...the sunroof closes down on this. Anybody know the correct part number please?

Confused, Type911 list 944 564 114 01 and 05, but neither look right, and PET shows 04 (external seal on sunroof panel?), and 944 623 114.04, designated "edge protection" and which looks about right.

Hoping my local trimmer can fit in a small job and can re attach headlining, and then make a new luggage cover. A tiny job for him, I'm afraid!

I fitted both sunroof seals last year.. if careful the head linning should remain in place.

Btw, new seals didn't cure my leak...Still waiting for Porsche to reopen so they can post my new hatch and fuel filler neck tube seals among other bits...most of my water ingress is from condensation which only happens during the cold months...i think moist air gets in due to hardened seals throughout and condensates on the large glass areas....when I can I'll replaced all door seals..

Pete

I've never renewed the seals on my non-sunroof car. Hasn't ever leaked either...…….:ROFLMAO:

about £180 a door, the hatch seal on eBay for £29.99 works perfectly

Thanks for that. No chance with OPC I guess, but I'll contact Type911. Decent service from them recently. Any other suggestions?

OPC spares departments are currently closed, no idea when they will reopen, im waiting for a Cruise throttle cable, £10.08 from OPC £43.00 plus post and vat from Design911

think i will wait

Your Door Seals Current OPC Prices

LH 944 537 091 00 £116 inc vat

RH 944 537 092 00 £116 inc vat

Hatch

944 512 043 01 £92.45 Inc Vat

that is the first time I have seen anything rubber get cheaper from OPC

Ouch. That's a big mark up! When I bought new n/s indicator and o/s lens earlier this year Type 911 were cheaper than OPC. The sunroof job is not urgent, so maybe like you I'll wait...

Pete, I think you might have to wait till June 12, when Furlough finishes

I tried to buy some crash sensors for my merc, Mercedes are doing spares for Blue Light only, Same with BMW, Skoda and others

you may be right Martyn, I just want the stuff to get to my son's before he gets too busy again...He's just ordered a new spray booth and car jig and looking to expand into the unit next door which may become available soon...if he gets too busy my poor old car will never get seen too...:(
