Sunroof?

Do most 993s have sunroofs?

Was it a standard item?

In a perfect world I'd be looking for a coupe with A/C but no sunroof? Is this an improbable combination?

Pretty sure all UK cars were spec'd with one as standard with the exception of the RS and GT2 models.

I think Dom may well be correct.
I find it more enjoyable to drive with the sun roof open up to motorway speeds - the car sounds better and feels less claustrophobic. I often have the window down a little also. So much so that only ever use the a/c when motorway cruising.

My German import has aircon but no sun roof, it's fairly common there for 993s to have one but not the other - usually aircon. No rear wiper either.

Obviously Porsche knew that Germans don't like to pay extra for things that they don't need and that will only add weight but also knew that us Brits like to think that we're getting our monies worth so they chucked every option at the UK exports [;)]. The 986s and 996s were like that as well but not sure what they current model line up is like

Both my tt and previous C4 had a sunroof, yet no 'sunroof' option was listed. I presume it comes as part of a standard build spec for C16 UK cars.

Thank you for your responses.

I assumed as much based on the amount of cars (all!) in the PH classifieds with sunroofs.

As the it was a potential track project, I just wanted to make sure.
