you know the bits of black plastic that's held on to the car by two screws, and the sunvisor clicks into, can you still get them from porsche, or will i have to trawl ebay?

ta. :)

ORIGINAL: tandy

tYou can buy them from Porschshop for 10.50 for 2.

That's more than twice the price as compared from the dealer - Grrrrr []

And this surprises you?

I know these guys sponsor a lot of club events, but they do take the P big time with there pricing. I also think that it always comes as a surprise to find that Porsche themselves are so cheap that often many people don't bother to check.

Aren't they the same part as was fitted to Mk3 golfs? Check the Alternative Part Fitment thread. May be cheaper still ...

Oli.

Golf MKIII clips are the same. There was just another thread of this same item. Golf clips can be bought from various colors.

Just bought a load of small trim bits including sunvisor clips and sunroof gears from my local OPC, everything was cheaper than the Porscheshop, some of it half the price and they post it to me free of charge. It's always worth giving them a ring before you buy anything.

Just bought one of the sunvisor clips from Marc at Exeter Porsche. £2.49 as above and included 2nd class postage. Fantastic service and a very reasonable price (I didn't even ask for any discount because they were so low).

My visor now stays rock solid against the windscreen when I need to blot out the sun
