Supaguarding?

Hi All

Picking up my new Cayman S in November from Porsche Solihull so I thought I would introduce myself and ask your advice. I've just come out of a TVR T350C and after a couple of whopper bills and ridiculous servicing frequency and cost, I wanted to be in something I was confident would start each time!!! Plus, like most, fulfilling a childhood dream!

I've gone for PASM, PCM, Sports chrono plus, heated sports seats, 19" carrera classics, coloured wheel centres, stainless steel pipe, park assist, full climate, multifunction steering wheel, bi-xenons, BOSE and the disc changer. Oh, and VTS for the insurance.

My questions are:

[8|] it's arctic silver in colour - what do you reckon to supaguarding the paint work? Is this only really an advantage for darker colours? I'll be washing weekly anyway.
[8|] does anyone know of any recordings of the various sports exhausts that are available?
[8|] does anyone have any experience of Porsche Solihull?

Thanks for the help. I can't wait for the day!

Mike
