Super Car Sunday Update

Hi Everyone

Please read on for all who have pre booked for attendance at Supercar Sunday - 4th September 2016.

We have a reserved space for our club parking. However, this area can be hard to police since the Hotel takes bookings from Porsche non club owners and then directs them to our area when they arrive at the event. We also get non booked and non club Porsche owners turning up on the day and they also get directed to our area. I have made the Hotel management aware of this situation and they have enlarged the gravel area and size of the parking area for Porsche. So all should be well.

Anyway, my suggestion would be to arrive at 0930 this I hope will see you safely onto the club stand.

I have copied below relevant parts from an e mail received from the Hotel:-

Only group bookings will receive the discounted 3 course followed by Tea, Coffee pricing of £17.50. I have now finalised arrangements etc and confirm this will be offered on Supercar Sunday 4th September to your members.

For group bookings, such as the Porsche Club, we can only take the food order once everybody at the table is seated and orders together – therefore communicating the 12.15pm seated time to your members/guests is very much appreciated.

We have widened and extended the gravel area around the lawn, therefore more spaces available for Porsche’s to be parked together.

Appreciate the ongoing support at our events, we are expecting a great turnout already with several Hypercars surrounding the very special supercars!

For all who have pre booked lunch, note above, please be seated at 1215pm.

Hi John is it still possible to save a couple of spaces for me and my bro for 2 cars on the club stand this Sunday? Probably wont do the lunch though.
thx, Neil.

Hi Neil

Sorry to say no but spoke to Hotel management yesterday and the Club area is now full.

However, not all bad news, there is an overspill area where you could be directed.

Rgds

John
