There is a run out with the Leeds Supercar club next Sunday morning 11th March. Meet at car park next to The Roundhay Fox pub in Leeds at an invigorating 7.00 a.m.
Destination seems to be secret but is about an hours run, stopping somewhere for brekky I think and with an opportunity to have your car checked over when we get there.(must be some garage somewhere) Should be back home lunchtimish.
Have never been out with this outfit before but will give it a go if weather is perfect, hot and with brilliant sunshine. Suppose there will be a nice array of tasty motors and poseurs to look at.
Just turn up if you fancy it.

Chris

You never said I had to be up at the unearthly hour, I don't even get up that early for Golf[:D]

See you Wednesday to discuss

Steve

if its not in the 80's bright sunshine we'll nick Linda's Merc. [8D]

What a fantastic day out!! Turned up at at 7.00am to be confronted by about twenty Porsches and a sprinkling of Audi r8 with a dash of Ferrari. There were a few of us lot there namely John Bushby and Danny, Michael and Lisa Jackson, Tommo, Michael and myself.
We had a very enthusiastic thrash to Garstang, picking other supercars up on the way. magnificent roads and weather. Two cars equipped with cameras filmed the whole run- hope they didn't film any speedometers!

Met the Preston supercar club at a pub in Garstang where we had a total of about 45 tasty motors. Full English breakfast was huge at a cost of a fiver each which was just right for a tightwad like me- and Tommo of course.

Breakfast over we blasted over to Amari supercars in Preston for a look at their stock. After a semi leisurely drive home we finished off with a beer or two and arrived home at about 2.00pm to enjoy the rest of the day.

A brilliant day, good weather, cars, roads, food and company- what more do you want?[8D][:)]

What Chris does'nt say is that 'enjoying the rest of the day' for most of us meant washing the car and putting it to bed, in Chris's case it meant put car in garage and put himself in bed [;)]

Good review, (Chris) good drive out and nice to see JCT supporting it with the new 991

Yes, great morning's "jaunt". pity the sunshine only stayed over Yorkshire. The run was fun and the other lads were a friendly bunch, hoping to do this agin very soon. The turn-out put our Porsche Club runs to shame!!! Unfortunately had to leave Amari earlier than expected as was on-call and, yes, received a phone call so had to bomb back home again before getting changed and rushing over to Hull. (not all of us have the pleasure of relaxing on a Sunday). Have see photos on Leeds Supercar site and have made sure I have re-registered for the next great run. Nice to see you all again.
