What are they quoting you for the work. There are other options ...... one of which I have fitted to my car .... Softronic. Similar gains ... .but there are other options including 'Sport Chrono' throttle response if you do not have this option already. Plus you can reload the original DME map prior to any service work then reload your upgrade when you get it back.

Tommo, Isn't it quick enough for you already! Go to Wayne Schofield at Littleborough - the guy is a genius. Andrew W.

such small gains on non turbo cars really dont make sense-lindas bmw got 70/180 bhp/torque which makes huge difference but 20 odd bhp would be only slight gain

It's not all about raw power ie final bhp numbers on the dyno, if the power is delivered sooner or more evenly for example then that would also be a big improvement. There are others I am sure.

there are indeen nick, but superchips aint one of them as far as a boxster goes abyway-i was advised to not waste my money on superchipping the cayman s-the only sure way of real gain would be by taking to guys like JZM and getting them to work on it-probably looking at a few thousand rather than hundreds though

Thanks Gentlemen for your constructive comments, you have all given me something to think and I'll take all of the above onboard. Manks Thanks Tommo
