cheers
scott,
Special thanks to Alan Laing, VIP Motorhome department, the girls, Fay and Sexy Suzi (Boydy Catering and Gazebo Erecting Dept), to Keith who kindly lent me his rotor arm from the 3.2 in another hour of need, to the 2 Mike's, who set the rape of keith's car up, to Shads, Big Al, Shaun etc for all turning nup unexpected.
To Scott, our fantastic RO, Kim & Bonnie(Region Support), the team almost saved the day and to nayone else I may have missed.....I was very apprehensive re the following but they almost saved my bacon today so thanks again.
How did I get on.............1st race......well it was pouring down and we qualified 14 from 28....jumped 3 places within lap 2, then started to lose power and eventual retirement.
2nd race.......last on grid, jumped 6/7 cars lap 2 then again lost power and retirement.
Not the best experience, especially as the car was running so well in testing on saturday but we thisnk the issue is faulty battery, poor earth, electrical failure etc so more new parts arriving soon.
Anyways we are learning, the car seems competative and we will soldier on.
Again the whole experience was forever changing during the day but the support could not have been better.
Thanks and regards
Raymond & Fay
