This is off their web site :-
DINITROL 3125 compares very favourably with Waxoyl 120-4. It has high creep getting into all the nooks and crannies. It also contains a rust inhibitor to neutralize any surface rust it comes in contact with. The big difference is Waxoyl is oil and wax mixed so it never cures and on hot days continues to drip out of any holes left and you will get an odour from the oil.
DINITROL is wax and solvent so when the solvent evaporates it leaves only wax which expands and contracts with temperature changes and no smell as we use aromatic solvents.
When DINITROL cures it leaves a skin and stays soft underneath allowing it to self heal in all temperatures.
I can really recommend this product - comes in spray and brush on.

While on the subject, what are the likely areas to suffer?
I had the rear end removed to tackle a number of service issues including replacing the 4 bumper support mounts which had gone. Also there is a pair of folded metal brackets for mounting the bumper that fit above the mufflers. These are a problem as rust starts under them where they attach to the body beside the rear bumper bar mount. Both these items are covered well at http://www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/
Other well known areas are at the bottom of the windscreen, the headlight guides, the backing plates on the front brake assembly and the window attachment plates.
I have noticed a tiny bubble at the front lower corner of the door. I'm assuming this is coming through from the inside, which means the rust is in the folds of the metal. Gently sand blast the inside lower seam and apply a rust inhibitor before painting and waxoiling?
The rust inhibitor I have used so far is Fertan, which seems good but I have no long term use to confirm.
Any other problem areas that anyone is aware off, sills etc?
Keeps my classic mini in nice nick, and they rust for England given half a chance:
