had mine replaced within a month of getting the car which was paid for by opc sutton coldfield but only after opc colchester told me these were not covered under warranty and i wud have to foot the £850 bill. Porsche mag this month suggests that this would have been covered under porsche warranty and many 997"s were repaired free of charge. im wondering weather opc colchester were just trying it on and therefore shud i take my business somewhere else when the car needs working on. anyone else had problems with suspension bushes??

If it was a true warranty matter then hard to see why they wouldn't do it as such in that they recoup the cost from Porsche.
Was it a new or used vehicle when bought, and if used how old: I am aware that rattles and squeaks go out of warranty after the 2 year basic expires but don't know about suspension bushes.

Out of interest were the all bushes physically worn or just creaking ?

car was two and half when i got her but only had done 13k miles. the car make qa creaking noise from the front passenger side when it was wet which is how i noticed it. opc sutton coldfield couldnt apologies enough and colchester got the job done promptly but nit makes you wonder how this was all mikssed in the 111 point check these things are supposed to have before they are sent out. isnt that why we pay a premium with an opc? i am overjoyed with the car and no harm done but just made me curious reading an article that stated these were all replaced under warranty

Perhaps someone here can confirm this but I think there was an issue with suspension bushes on earlier models circa 2004/05 and that there was also a technical service bulletin issued to check for correct fitting.

Mine creaked almost from new, seemed to be the front nearside, and were replaced under warranty way back in 05.
