Suspension Bushes - Hard or Soft?

Hi,

I've been looking at the various handling kits available (mainly from the states) such as the Elephant racing tailor made kits. However with the conditions of the average road in the UK seemingly getting worse I was wondering whether I would be better off sticking to the standard softer rubber items. I use and intend to continue using the can for fast road use rather than track days! Has anyone any experience of using either hard or soft or maybe a combination of the two, to optimise the car for fast road use in the UK?

How do you find it on the roads? Bone shattering or positively stiffer?

Were you running standard rubber bushes before?

I used nylon bushes on mine, and find it transmits too much road noise into the car. It does improve handling, which is nicely sharp and accurate, but I do slightly regret the increase in road noise, which can be tiresome on long journeys.

Standard before they are just stiffer than the normal type. I have done all the shocks as well at the same time.
However on those I went for stock green Bilsteins, cost £650 for a set of four .

Sold my old ones on Ebay £65.00
