Suspension geometry

My Cab has arrived and I collect it early next week.

A question: Would anyone advise a full geometry check prior to collection? I assume I would have to pay for that. However, I have no reason to believe it is incorrect and always take my new Porsche back for an old fashioned 1000 mile service which my OPC provides for free (no oil change).

Congrats on the new toy, bet she will be fabulous......
I'd save your money Derek, after you have put a few miles under its belt if you suspect an alignment problem (which I doubt) then you can always get it checked under warranty IMO.

Unless something seemed blindingly wrong I'd suggest you save your money Derek.
It will alter as all do with time(see how Alex's had dropped after a year) so have it checked at that point.
good luck with the collection, I look forward to seeing the colour.

I asked Chis at Center Gravity about this last year, and he recommended waiting 5k miles to let it all settle down first.
I did this and found it was all still within spec, although he then 'tweaked' it to give slightly sharper turn in which was a definite improvement.

Depends what you intend using the car for. If for track work, probably yes.

I've just had the geo checked at Maztech, prior to some winter Trackdays and the difference is palpable - much sharper - and this is with a C4S, where the front geo is restricted anyway (in terms of what's adjustable) due to the driveshafts.

I'll report back in a couple of weeks after Bedford on the 11th.

Enjoy the Cab

i had my geo done at jzmachtech at 6000 miles and the difference was huge-much sharper so i would defnately wait for a few months myself
