Suspension Mods 964 C2

I am keen to improve the suspension/handling on my 1990 model 964 C2 to provide a good system for fast road/track day use. I keep hearing about Bilstein HD with adjustable dampers (pss9?).....are they the ones to go for and is it worth spending the extra to get the adjustable dampers?
I will also need to invest in new tyres soon, any suggestions? Also is there a preferred strut brace that I should consider or will they all perform similarly?

Thanks, Mike Lucas

I have H&R's on my car and they are a bit gut-wrenching on rubbish village road surfaces at 30mph, but on anything else they are fine, and on the smooth-stuff they are awesome!.. Not sure how they compare price wise with other kits, but they are fully adjustable which would be nice if you are a fiddler; mines set to RS numbers, and never gets altered

I've heard a lot of good things about the KW "variant 3" set up.
I'm looking into an upgrade too but don't want to spend silly money on an infinitely adjustable system which I will never really use.
Decision, decisions....

Have heard of good things for the pss9, and also the kw, and also the ruf and h&r. All seems to have pros/cons and from some research I did years ago the spring rates are all more than stock - so not a great deal of difference in terms of easing our bumpy roads. The adjustable shocks are useful although not many folks will change once it is set-up. I have h&r and find them fine for track and country roads, and yes smooth country roads are best! If you are going to have a specialist to do it - I would have a chat with them to see what they like to fit.
