Suspension set-up and Tyres

Hi

Does anyone have any advice with regards to suspension set-up for the 993rs for mostly track use. It seems as though mine is set-up soft at the moment but Id like to play around to make it more track biased.

Also Im looking at the pilot sports (semi's) as the car tends to squirm around on the bridgestones its running at the moment....does any one have any comments regarding these tyres or others? Taking into account you dont see much in the way of rain over here.

Cheers Phil

Toyos will quickly overheat, especially where you are,you need sand tyres!
Best track tyre is the mich cups for consistant grip, deff the quickest tyre in the dry & especially for heat duration.
For dry conditions set rear roll bar at full stiff and front 2 off full stiff, see how you get on with understeer,it should be fine on these settings for the mich cups. You can also crank some camber in,as the mich tyres will give you a lot of grip, and you may get tyres rolling over on the shoulder. For track days i would recommend 2 1/2 deg neg rear and 2deg neg front,if racing 3 1/2 deg neg rear and 3deg neg front.
Toe front and rear would be down to your preferance, but deff all wheels with some degree of toe in.
