Does anyone have any experience of Design 911's coil over upgrade (DesignTek) for 997s? They're substantially cheaper than the top brands. Or is it a question of getting what you pay for? Bilsteins, KW etc have a proven track record......but they're at least a grand more to buy. I'm seeking fast road use and possibly occasional track day. I've seen the DesignTek items in the flesh on a 996 Turbo and they look pretty well engineered. Anyone with actual experience?

If you want something that works with the 997 PASM then you have to go Bilstein, and they are very very good I had a set on previous 997) the PSS9's or their upgrade have a lifetime warranty. They are firmer so you probably want to ease off the roll bar seeting to keep some comfort/ not go too mad if you dont wan to make it too skittish.
K's have a great reputations. The ones you mention will be good, the real question is whats the compromise is it brand name margin ont he rpice or engineering? The other big question is Bilstein make Prosches dampers for the 997 and the u[grade worsk with PASM, so you wan tto keep with that or ingore all those Porsche development dollars............
