Graham, If you're willing to buy abroad you can get a set of Bilstein HDs from shox.com for a little over £400. Add in a set of H&R Green springs for another £200 or so, get them fitted for £200 and get a 4 wheel alignment for about the same - there's your £1000 spent already!!! You'll never look back!! Regards Dave

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good set up for my 964. Wasn't looking at going for a £2,000 spend on adjustable Bilsteins but something around £1,000 if it exist?

Cheers.

I will second that, I recently replaced the std struts on my C2 with H.D's and Green H&R's and its a good everyday setup. It also provides adjustable ride height. There are better setups I am sure but they run into much bigger Buck$. George 944t 964

Graham, Can concur with what has been said. Note that goods from the States are subject to import taxes (vat and duty) and it is hit and miss whether your order gets through without them, it's the luck of the draw!. Just bare this in mind when calculating your costs, then there will be no suprises. Good luck

Thanks for your responses guys. I'll ask my mate that lives in NY to get them sent to hom and he can ship them over wrapped as a present -may get through then ! Thanks alot.

Can I use the HD's with my progressive Eibach springs or would I need to get a set or grns/reds as well? What's the diff. between the grn and red springs?

Rob, No problem using the HDs with the Eibach springs. The difference between reds and greens is that the reds are primarily designed for the Turbo cars and drop the ride height approx 30mm. The greens are designed for the n/a cars and drop the ride height approx 40mm. The reds are a little stiffer than the greens and many people prefer them for track use but the greens are a better bet for road use. Regards Dave
