suspension

hi
can someone answer some suspension questions for me. My new to me 996tt has 'ruf' bilstien suspension on it and I wondered what this means (they're black with green springs and i think pss9's). Does it mean that it is a particular type of bilstien suspension made for ruf conversions or does it mean that ruf just set it up or none of these! i also believe they have 9 ways to adjust them so if anyone has some hints and tips for setup please let me know.

also, it was fitted in 2003 along with a ruf exhaust so the orginal turbo springs and dampers i also have with the car must be almost new . i understand they are 20mm lower and stiffer than standard non turbo 996 but it doesn't tell me anywhere on the web if they fit a normal 996 and therefore whether there is a market to sell them on ebay. Does anyone know whether they make a good uppgrade for a 996 or not?
thanks

I believe the spring rates and the damping rates are to Ruf specifications. I don't know if this means they are stiffer than standard PSS9's but wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. Maybe you should fire off an email to them explaining your situation (new to you car, etc). They may send you some detailed info. Cant help with the other question about your old suspension.
