Swapping Dials

Had a thaught about swapping the speedo and the rev counter around so it looks like the 911's setup. anyone swapped the dials around before, is it hard? im guessing the steering wheel has to come off.

Hi Andy. It's pretty easy once you've taken the steering wheel (+ stalks? can't remember) off. Have to say though, I've always found the speedo placement to be ideal in the 924.
 
If you can find a three inch speedo cable extension. I don't think the cable, which has an angled entry, will clear the steering column bracket, and you will most likely have to change over the gauge illumination lamps, there isn't that much spare cable.
