Hi,
Apologies ifi this post appears twice - thihnk it didn't work last time.
I'd be interested to hear whether anyone has swapped out duff seat adjustment motors before? - The rear height adjustment on my drivers seat doesn't work and having disassembled the switch I think the problem lies either with wiring, or with the motor itself which doesn't turn or 'torque up' (ie not a geartrain issue to the little tower/ram things that lift the seat.
If swapping the motors is possible, does anyone know if you can get a replacement motor on its own and if something from a cheaper marque would be interchangeable?
If I can't get a replacement then I might swap from the passenger side, but would prefer not to.
The alternative would be to get a replacement seat (as mine needs a repair to the top part in any case. Does anyone out there have a nautic mettalic/white pinstripe sport seat (big bolsters) with working electrics??? - A long shot I know![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Cheers for any advice,
Eddy
