Swissol....which 1 to use?

Hi,

Once the weather gets better I intend to have a go at removing the infamous swirls on my paintwork, having read all the treads concerning this I find that the most popular choice is Swissol Cleaner Fluid.......however there are 2 of these products one being medium and the other heavy[] and I am unsure of which one to purchase especially at £25.00 a bottle[:(]. Can anyone please advise as to which one is the most popular and does the job, my car is midnight blue and like most the swirls show big time in direct sunlight........when we get some that is[:D]

Start with the least agressive. If that doesn't work then go for the other one, and follow up with the least agressive one...
(You didn't want to hear that did you? [;)])

thanks in other words.....goodbye to £50.00[:'(]..................any chance of a loan[:)]

Before you splash out, what other product have you got? You might find you already have something suitable.
What were you thiniking of finishing with? The Cleaner Fluid is only one stage in the process...

Having used Swissol, I would do it the other way to Mark as you would only have to use come back down the 'agressive' scale as the cleaner is slightly abrasive to remove the likes of swirl marks.

Maybe I said it wrong.

Try the least agressive first - if that works - great! Stop there and go to the finishing products [:)]

If it doesn't get rid of the swirls to your satisfaction, then go for the Heavy, and follow up with the medium (then the finishing products)

As you are remoiving material when you polish, you want TRY the least agressive first, and if that doesn't work fthen go to the hard stuff!

That's how I would do it too [;)]

Wasn't there a brief article in the December edition of Total 911 about Swissol?

Hi,

I only have the autoglyn resin polish in the garage would that be ok to finish or would it remove the swirls instead of swissol? then all I have to buy is a good wax.......right or wrong?.........I bet it's wrong[&:]

Go straight for the Medium Cleaner fluid only, we often just use this one on many cars that we work on, no need to then go over with regular cleaner fluid afterwards. If possible finish the surface with Onyx wax, the pot will give you enough wax to do the whole car 30+ times, I have waxed my 964 20 times and only used half the tub. Give me a call at Swissol GB office on 01423 797989 and we could give you 10% discount on the products.
Andrew, Swissol GB
