Switched 12 Volt Supply

Hi, I trying to install a Parrot Handsfree to my 2008 987 Boxster but can't get it to power up. I have the standard Becker CDR24 Headset so the Euro Connectors plug straight into the back of the unit. The problem appears to be that there is no switched 12v supply to the unit as I believe it gets "woken up" via the Fibre Optic cable. Anyone know the best place to tap into a switched supply without a complete interior strip down!!

Cheers

By far the easiest way is to use a fuse tap. I used fuse D9, which is normally for the telephone handset.

Fuse Tap purchased from the Web, delivered 1 day later and now fitted successfully (despite the rain!). Now Handsfree and legal, thanks Richard.

Regards

Paul
