Switching off passenger airbag

Hello All

Having a 1 month old baby i want to take her out in my 996, does anyone know how to switch off the passenger airbag in my Renault Clio it couldnt be easier with a simple switch but not in my 996, you can not put the seat in the back as it is rear facing and does not fit. I have a feeling this was mentioned sometime ago but cant remember the outcome.

Looking forward to some answers.

you have to buy something called a child seat deactivator kit then go to opc to alter your settings in the airbag ecu for a fee... unless you are near an indy that has tha facility to do this...
