Sytner track day

16th July this year, but only a half-day, 9.30am to 12.30. £100...not sure if I will go as this is an expensive half day.

seems EXPENSIVE for 3hours and youll be in groups so how much track time? And why dont they put Porsches in afternoon session instead of the CRAP FERR---- who go away after 2 outings !!!! Anyway ill be in SUNNY ITALY, all enjoy yourselves as long range weather forecast is WET /WINDY why not invest into IANS eves cu ps it seems that Sytner is not allowed to mix makes of carson organised track days so i heard!!!!

It is liable to rain too since it is in July! Seems poor value compared to Ian's nights. However since there is no track time in July might be tempted.

Anybody else going?

Charles

I usualy love the Glenvarigill/Sytner day but last year the food was awful and 100 + 15 for breakfast for a few hours time makes me think twice ( three times actually as my car's broken)

has george not sorted that yet ???? 4 month now ?
been meaning to give you call to see how it was progressing but been in south of france for last couple of weeks,,,

have given up on him !

have used peter at motor tune, to mot 993, service shogun and service/repair the tuscan,,,, did what he said he would do and at the price he quoted,, give or take £50,,,,

cheers
scottie....

half day sytner for £100,,,, mmm,,,,,might go watch,,,,probably piss down anyway,, and its no fun unless you get to hassle. 355's. with pussy drivers.

greig,,

myself and mike have invites and are going,,,,,, you ?
cheers
scott....

Probably not...a bit too expensive for a morning session for me....but I might change my mind the day before depending on the weather.

Scotty Boy,
They phoned me last night about attending this event obviously looking for numbers. Im in sunny Italy for a week so cant make it but they told me the afternoon session will be a mixture of Ferraris,TVR's,Maseratis and Novas!!!!!
So that should suit you perfectly....you will at least manage to overtake the Nova.........maybe...........Cheers

wish I was with you gordon,,,,,,

not surprised they are stuggling for people,, same price for half the day !

they even phoned me to make sure I got the invite !

but what the hell,,, should still be a fun morning,, and if we hang about,, after about 20mins,, ferraris will be back in for polishing,,,, empty track with porkers sneeking on??????????? tempted to take tuscan with ferrari badge on,, do you think they would notice,,,,

enjoy,, italia,,,,,

scottie..

Slowly changing my mind as the weather forecast looks reasonable, and hoping that the fezzas get fed up and leave after 10 minutes.

the latest is 9am,, for driver briefing,,, or turn up early and pa a whopping £15 for ham and eggs, ?

will be there, 8:30ish,,, babs coming to watch,, will skip breaky,,,

cu there
scottie

Can you pay on the day? I am considering it but it sounds like expensive morning. Is there groups in the morning too?

Off to Aimee Mann and then Golf on Friday to say bye bye to Jack. So looks like it is going to be an expensive weekend if I do drive ! [:(]

Just booked Spa in Sep 21st and 26th if anybodies interested? Sh*T KH is a bargain! [:D]

Sabine is fully booked at the ring on 25th though.

See you Sat.

Charles

Don't know if you can pay on the day - maybe better phone first.

How do you book a lap with sabine? Might be interested for next year.

Enjoy! Will come up on Sat but not going to drive. Can I get a lift round in the GT3 Greig for a lap?
