Juat picked up this little beauty today, and looking forward to taking it up to the Lake District on Friday - I'll post some more pictures from the trip later. 160,000 on the clock and only a couple of little points to sort out at the moment (small oil leak and the heater is always hot). Are there any other workshop manuals available other than the Haynes and is there anything I should look at sorting out first?

Cheers,

Neil

Nice!

Heater is easy, clip and circlip are pennies from Porsche. Pull the fuse for the glovebox light, remove glovebox liner and you can gaffer tape the rod to the broken clip as a temporary measure (it'll last ages anyway, but I hate bodging like this) .

Thanks for the comments and the heater fix - it aounds pretty staight forward. I'll have a lok for Clarks' garage too.

Cheers,

Neil

welcome Neil. Boy do I envy you your Lakes trip.
Hope the weather holds out, we'll want to see some pics on your return. You are going to love the Grand Tourer crusing style of a 944[:D]but you'll have to fix the heater before you go or it will be very unpleasant
