Tailgate Glass wanted

Hi, does anyone based in the South West have a tailgate glass for a 944 Lux. I work all over Somerset, Devon, Dorset & Cornwall so no problem to come and collect it.
I am also after some replacement cloth to re-do the seat panels, it is a beige pinstripe. Does anyone know if this is available from anywhere ?

Thanks, Jeff

HIi Jeff
contact Porsche Apart - they delivered me one a couple of years ago for about 150 notes.
Prices may be different now though

Cheers

there's two on ebay right now.... not close to you but the postage for one is only £18. They both have buy it now prices, one at £40 plus the £18 postage and one at £88.. not sure on postage though... may be worth your while contacting them to check on condition for those prices

Regarding the cloth best check with southbound.. they are on the web , sry forgot the url. They also advertise in porsche post.

£150 for a fucking tailgate???[] It never fails to amaze me how people lap up Simon Butterworths overcharging: he must think that it is still 1994 ffs!. A good tailgate with well bonded glass and a perfect spoiler is worth £40 - £50 at the most. Theres virtually no demand for them either, so anyone who has one should be happy to sell it for that.

With regards to the material: there is very little chance that you will be able to find either grey-beige or linen pinstripe material now, for a price that is realistic. Some people are having some specific materials remanufactured, but the cost is shocking.

Thanks Guys,

Think I will go and have a look on Ebay first - just a bit wary of having that much glass in the hands of a carrier [:(]

Found a url of southboundtrimmers.com, so email off to them shortly.

Thanks again

Jeff
