Targa Hatch problem

Targa hatch is getting more temperamental and not opening properly. It opens then, locks itself again without getting past the point where it is released completely so you can lift it up.
Anyone know how to adjust the mechanism?

Hi, I have a similar issue would be interesting if there are any simple fixes like lubing the seals ?

i have experienced this previously and found that the hatch catch had moved because the retaining screws had become lose. It was accompanied by a rattle from the rear rather than above. I took the internal rear most trim panel off and did the screws back up (having got the retaining catch back into the right place. Not saying you have the same issue but that was what it was with my targa.

I too shall have a look at that. I've had all the rear carpets out before and pit high density foam in various places to stop rattles. I've also cleaned the drain tubes out while I've been there
