Targa question?

Guest

New member
I am looking to come back to porsche ownership and have a question that will probably seem silly to most:

Has there been a turbo bodied targa?

Many thanks

Lee

No official turbo bodied targa for 993 as far as I am aware. Last one made was the 3.2 SuperSport Targa up to around 1989.

Lee.

There was only one model of the Targa. Narrow body, rear wheel drive, Varioram engine. Available MY1996 onwards.

Lots of them came with the Tiptronic gearbox but you do come across some with a 6 speed manual gearbox (much much better IMHO).

if only !

Our baby has got the Turbo front & rear spoiler - it looks pretty awesome (yes, yes, I'm biased, I know) -- BUT it does fool some [;)]

Other than that I can only echo Sundeep "if only" [LOUD SIGH]

thanks for all of the replies.

I saw a turbo bodied 993 in wimbledon last week and it looked amazing.

but still I think its the Targa for me
