Targa Roof help

Dear All,
I am new to the club and just finding my way about. I have loved my 2002 Targa for almost 10 years. I have enjoyed a few fun cars over the years from Lotus Esprit S2, Scimitar, and Morgan +4, my 996 has been by far the best across the board. I have however a problem with the roof and would like it to be totally overhauled. My local garage has isolated the motors so that everything is closed and inoperable, just in case I open it and cant close it again. Is there anyone out there who can help please? Many thanks

Not sure where you are in the country but in the South of England Precision Porsche (Sussex) and Northway (Reading) are very well-regarded in the field of sliding Targa tops. Certainly, if and when mine needs work I will be heading to one of those.

I've also got the infamous roof trouble.....brace brace for a big bill.

Anyone any experience in the Midlands doing these?

Ive also heard that the two indys mentioned are good with these....& not all will touch them.
