Targa roof leak

My local Porsche garage have just undertaken some work to my targa roof. It was raining when I collected it and noticed a regular drip of water through the junction where the glass top meets the rear window. After some debate I was told not to worry as the water is carried away in a drain channel which runs down beside the rear window and through the engine compartment. I can see that this is the case but it just doesn't seem quite right to me that water should enter the interior even if it is being properly carried away. Does anybody have a view on whether this is commonplace and acceptable or if it is something that should be addressed.

I think any ingression of water should be investigated and rectified, I have not seen any water entering my Targa and if I did
I would certainly want the problem fixed.
