Targa roof

Does anyone have any ideas on how to reduce the creaking and sqeaking of my Targa's roof? I assume it comes from the joints at the front and rear of the roof rails. It also seems to be worse in cold weather. Any thoughts?

I had the same and replaced the two felt and rubber seals that are on the leading and trailing adges of the roof section. That did not help! I then worked out that the squeaking was caused by the glass section rubbing against the rubber seals that run along the side edges of the roof section. By lubricating the rubber (I used a maquires trim finisher) the squeaking was eliminated. The same is true of where the door glass shuts against the rubber seals along the top edge of the glass.

Now the big freeze is over, I was finally able to give this a try. I used some Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care that I already had. Sprayed in the gap between the glass and the roof rails with the glass in various positions and worked it into the rubber with a cloth. I also did the door seals. ....and it all worked pretty well. The creaking and groaning that I used to get when going over speed bumps is pretty much eliminated. May have to repeat the treatment in due course, but its only a 10 minute job. So, thanks for the advice.
