Targa tastic

Well this weather has been great!
Only to be topped by being out in the targa with the roof wide open and the sun streaming in. Why a sun trap it is!

Really liking the targa choice.

Hope to get equal enjoyment down in Le Mans with it next week....

I am also heading to Le Mans with my Targa (appropriately decorated for the occasion), with some fellow petrol heads. Staying on the Pistonheads private site within Bleu Nord.[;)] First timer so quite exciting & hoping for good weather
Any other 996ers out there going?
Only 6 sleeps to go, can`t wait!

It will be great no matter what the weather is like... I keep an eye out for your targa.

Have fun - maybe see you down there.

Have the coat, shorts and sun cream..

Just off to put up the tent ahead of needing it on Thursday!

i love my targa - so practical

i would consider a newer model but they dont take roofbars unlike the 996 targa !

Ditto 're the practical. My Targa will swallow all of our kit for camping at Le Mans with a bit of thoughtful packing..for 2 pax..was not aware you cannot fit roofbars on 997 Targas. My 996 is a keeper until I retire in 9 years then I may upgrade.
Just out of interest Majordom what type/brand of roof bars do you fit on yours? I may get some to expand my options for longer trips away with family as my kids still fit in the back for now.

i have the porsche techquipment - ordered from main dealer who messed me around and
eventually gave me them half price (still not cheap)

not sure anyone else makes them to fit
