Targa Top Tearaways

[THX911]

A member has dropped an email to the club house to alert Porsche Club members to a spate of thefts taking place in the London area. His targa top was stolen in Central London during the night. When he rang his insurance company, he was told this was the third case reported this week, though one of the others was the hard top of a convertible.

There was no other damage to the car, the biggest shock was still to come when Porsche GB quoted him £10,000 to replace the top! Kish

Getting back to the targa thread, for those who have to park on the Lstreets, you could remove the roof handles to make it more difficult to remove. They simply pull off.
