Techno Classica

Just back from Essen. A bit disappointing compared to what it used to be. Still a great show, but the Retro Classic in Stuttgart (same weekend!) seems to be a problem.

964 RS: Very few offers, from 62k EUR to 90k EUR. Lots of other Porsches on offer, in general I think there are many, many mongrels out there. (e. g. a 964 RS 3.8 "recreation" in monkey bum)

On the other hand, many great classic cars to see, fine pre war stuff (although mongrels, too) and loads of GT cars like Iso Grifo, Aston Martin Vantage, Maserati 3500, etc..

Sorry, no idea about the Coy´s auction.

Still worth the visit then?

Just made plans to go Sunday, It's only an 1.30hr drive after keeping the dirty diesel out of the emission zones (i hope). Whats the parking situation like and is it reasonably priced?

Any pictures?

Worth a visit, yes. I wouldn´t give a sh1t on the emission zone. Parking is fine, but be there early. Don´t know the parking charge, had a special spot.

No pictures here.
