Teesside Workshop Morning - Saturday 1st April

Greetings R3

Apologies for the minor confusion with dates on this, officially confirmed for the 1st April (no it's not an April Fools joke) is the always popular workshop morning at OPC Teesside. Tim and the crew have once again generously offered to open the doors to the amazing facilities within the workshop.

For those of you that haven't been to a workshop morning, it gives members a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with the highly skilled technicians and casually discuss any concerns you may have about your car or anything of potential concern they may observe when your car takes flight on the state of the art lifts.

The dealership are once again generously providing breakfast, this is primarily a bacon or sausage sandwich, Tim has mentioned that special dietary restrictions should be sent to him in advance and he will do all he can to cater for these.

To book your car in to this event please email Tim at tim.copeland@porscheteesside.co.uk

The event has limited spaces (approx. 15 cars) but the team have requested if you'd had your car on the ramps in the last couple of workshops then you please give others that might not yet have had the chance to try this. This is on a first come first serve basis however Tim will have a reserve list and time permitting we'll get as many cars as possible involved.

Please only reserve a space if you are sure you can make the event

Any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch

Dave

I can’t make it along to grab a coffee this year as I’ll be out of the country but this is always a great morning to catch up with everyone and sample and great hospitality from Tim and his team. Enjoy yourselves everyone.

Hello David,

Are R3 members who don't want to get their car on the lifts welcome to attend and observe/socialise, or is it exclusive to the 15 who register?

Cheers Steve

As in the past at these events feel free to come along Steve. Always a great morning catching up with other members.

I shall be in attendance provided that I have no problems putting the car back on the road after the winter lay off.

Sorry Dave for jumping in

Thanks for the reply, I may well pop down.

Hello David , new old member here , having recently moved near to Teeside i would like to attend this meeting.

Morning all,

As Andy said everyone is welcome and can just turn up, but I'd advise most people to drop Tim an email (even if you don't want your car on the ramps, just mention this in your email) just so they can get an idea of numbers registered and cater accordingly.

I'm speaking to Tim on Monday morning to get an idea of what the numbers are so far.

Dave

Afternoon Everyone

Quick update on this weekends workshop morning, we have had a rather disappointing uptake on places for the Workshop morning this coming Saturday. So far only 7 people have registered with Tim. If we can not secure and confirm a minimum of 12 cars (ideally closer to 15) for Saturday by 9am tomorrow morning (Wednesday 29th) then I'm afraid this event will have to be pulled .

It's only fair we give Tim and the team sufficient notice if we intend to cancel the event so please if you intend to go on Saturday, please send an email to Tim Copeland tim.copeland@porscheteesside.co.uk before 9am tomorrow.

Thanks everyone

Dave

Thanks for the prompt David, although my car has been up on the lift before, I've sent a message to Tim and he's added me to the list.

cheers

John

Thanks gents

As we know from these mornings there will be a good selection of people there, some who will just turn up for the social side which is awesome. We just need to make sure we have enough cars to justify Tim paying his tech staff to attend and look after us as they do so well.

Thanks again everyone, fingers crossed we hit the magic number by tomorrow morning

Dave

Not shy of occasionally trying to get my 4 wheels up in the air at the same time, I’ve booked in with Tim.

Randall

E-Mail sent to Tim last Saturday but did not ask for a ramp slot as ours was in the air in October anticipating a good take up but if there are free slots then let’s get the car in the air.

i have since confirmed registration and membership nuMeereen to Jade.

I will send an E-Mail asking for a ramp slot.

Really sorry I can’t make it this time (friends from France staying the night) but highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been before.

Apart from being a great chance to have a good look under your car with expert input from Tim’s guys, it is always a great social event and an ideal opportunity to meet other members - particularly if you haven’t been to a PCGB event before.

Hope you get the numbers and have a great morning. Thanks Tim, for organising this again!

Thanks everyone for your quick replies and emails to Tim

I can officially confirm we got the numbers and we are go for Saturday.

See you all there
