Teledials

I have just sat my car back onto the original 16" Turbo teledials after a long stint on 17" Cup 3s. The car is 26 years old and the teledials suit it really well. Handling has been greatly improved too. Tele dials are great !!!!

16" Teledials are great. Ravs car is my old one and I wish I had never got rid of the original set on her. DHX is looking fab Rav [:)]

Ok, in the past I have dismissed the teledials as a rather old fashioned looking wheel, but more recently I have seen some that just looked cracking, especially in black.

What do you think?

I sold my teles and they have since grown on me , especially if going for the original look. Re the black ones , for me they must be on a very very dark car and the blue you have shown is one of the colours that suit black wheels. Regards. Mas

I love them, think they look spot on, prefer silver to black though but that's just my personal preference

I never used to like Teledials but they've grown on me to the point of buying some as a second set due to the tyres on my Fuchs being an annoying size. They're not your fancy pants turbo variations but I like them all the same.

It has to be the early offset turbo teledials for me I'm afraid. The late offsets just don't do it for me.

Cheers Ed, Is that your car ? looks like Kalahari ? Managed to drop the rear today, first side 2 hours b***gerin about, second side half an hour once sussed, impossible to do on the drive i would say, manged to get the lift for day, the lock nut and concentric adjuster bolts required the windy gun treatment ! Now nicely coated in copperslip, it looks much better with a drop at the back , i will get some pics posted when the sun comes out again. Jim.

Yes my S2, not the original colour I might add, re-spayed in the previous owners fav porsche colour (apparently he had a 911 in it too). Its does appear very similar to Kalahari beige and thats what I call it when asked... Mine could probably do with dropping down a but too but now I'll wait until KW's are fitted later this year. Edd

Ed, It looks great in strong sunlight, back end drop is easy peazy once sussed but as previously stated not a driveway job, easily got over an inch drop the top of the tyre is now just below the arch line now, would look even better with 20mm spacers on the back, to "pack out" the arches. Now added to the list.

Yeah, its funny how things can come and go out of fashion. Like others, teledials left me cold but they now seem very attractive. Wouldn't mind a set in white for my fastest colour S2.

I think the point about the early offset by Ben is a good one, its a shame our later offset cars cant wear them... Edd

Still not for me, although I was pleasantly surprised by some charcoal metallic ones I saw recently.......
