Got a hankering for GenII with PDK last week and sealed the deal with OPC Solihull today. It's a July 2009 model in Basalt Black with Sports Exhuast. I'm collecting it Friday and leaving them my much loved Gen I. Will I ever learn?? Pics to follow.

Cheers

Personally why not wait for the Gen III sure the marketing bods will feed more upgrades soon without doubt! Edited to say yes .... lost it .. to answer the original question[;)]

But heard they will bring out a better one shortly followed by an even better one and better one still![;)]

If you've lost it so have I, went in last week for a little warranty work, came out with order for new car ( not the 991 ) and also from Solihull.
Enjoy the car now, I know I will. They will always be working on the new or face lift model .

I see you're one ahead of me, i.e. I'm going for number 5. I've just been explaining to my wife that this is basically my only vice!! Not sure she's entirely convinced.

The way things are going I'm not sure that's necessarily true! Anyway, what a boring place it would be if will all looked for the same.[;)]

I'm a little concerned here....[&:] my car goes into Solihull tomorrow, will I get it back or not??? []
Having left me sat in the carpark for 5 minutes refusing to start [:(] - and it needs a clean [;)]

i reckon to keep it down to only 5 for that time is very impressive[:D]

in my post children(until then broke!) porsche ownership I am already on no.4 in 5 years!!

your wife should be very happy and relieved [:)]

Mine is going in for TPM sensor fault this thursday but checking OPC Bolton used car website I think I'm safe because they don't have any GenII GT3s and I can't afford the nice looking GenII Turbo they have in [:(]

And no, I don't think you have lost it....sounds lovely...especially with the "sports exhaust" and the colour of course [:D][:D]

Nice one Ellis, you'll love it, as Alan says, a big difference after the Gen 1 manual.
Was in Swindon opc yesterday and had a damp eye seeing mine sat on their sales lot. And the red GT3 was very tempting...

Apologies for butting in on this thread but can you let me have info on the fault, the cause, how rectified and the cost thereof. I am having problems with mine, outlined on a TPM thread.

Thanks
