Hi Guys. Wondered if anyone else has experienced this. If I start up from cold and leave the heaters on full temp the air gets hot quite quickly. Once I reach about 1/4 temp on the gauge the heaters cool down a bit. If I press the demister button the air becomes really hot again.

I was thinking maybe the interior temp sensor for the climate control maybe?

Thoughts?
 
This sounds normal to me. The climate control computer in the dash unit automatically mixes the levels of hot and cold air to match the temperature you have set. During the summer mine has never been to full heat - except when you demist it defaults to full heat and shoulfd turn on the air conditioning. You will probably find a different story in the winter.
 
The sensor in the dash behind the little round grill thing will be stuffed, they are about £90 for a new one. But you might get lucky using compressed air to clean it and the tube attached to it.
