Temperature in Cabin

Hi, the temperature in the cabin of my 993 has been rising quite a lot recently due to the weather and the fact that I don't have aircon. I have, however, noticed that it gets extremely warm around the passenger seat to the front and side lower down.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Seb

Thanks Maurice but this does not seem to be coming from the vents. In fact, if anything the carpet around the passenger seat is pretty hot particularly on the left hand side if I remember rightly. Its as if its coming from underneath the carpet?!

Think you will find the fuel pump is located under the car in that area (LH Side), may be worth getting under the car and checking it out make sure you do not have a problem with the pump.

The right hand side of the car can get warm as the pipes leading to the oil cooler run along it. Is your car RH drive as you do not specify. RH side is the passenger side on a LH drive car !!

Agree with that, also, don't forget all aircooled 911s have the cabin heater pipes running through the sills. Therefore hot sills are normal after a good run. Not sure if this applies with the cabin heater turned off though.

PS - aren't the oil cooler pipes on the right ?
