Hi all, does anybody have a step by step guide on how to locate and change the temperature sensor located on the evaporator housing? Sensor is part number 1H0907543A. Thanks, John.

Thanks very much Richard. I really appreciate it. I'll attempt on the weekend! Cheers, John.

Hi Richard, tried following this guide but could not see sensor as described. Does it make a difference that its a 2004 model? Also, motor looks different to diagram. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, John.

As far as I know, the instructions apply to all model years. I know it sounds obvious, but are you looking on the passenger side?

Yes I removed the glove box, the air duct and a steel sub frame which the glove box rests on. This gave a bit of breathing space.
I struggled to follow the diagram, but thinking back I now visualise the drive motor on the far right side of the evaporator housing box. Going to give it another try... Third time luck I hope. I'll report back on the weekend again. Thanks.

Do you have a picture of the drive motor and a part number so I know what I'm looking for?

Only from the parts list, I'm afraid (LHD shown). Numbers on casings don't always match the sales part number, by the way.
