Temperature sensor vent cover?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has one of the above knocking around at all? (The circular grille thing that sits in the dashboard, covering the cabin interior sensor). Just broken one of the plastic struts on mine, bugger. All the ones on ebay seem to be in the US, and I suspect the postage cost to get one from Porsche would be more than the part! If anyone does have one, what sort of price are you after posted, please?

Porsche at Exeter seem to charge 5 - 8 quid to post anything. Don't mind that if its for lots of bits or heavy bits, but if its just for a bit of plastic that costs (as you say) a few pence I'd rather check other alternatives. Will see what Porsche say on Monday. Suppose I could wait until I need some other bits, if no one's got one?

TBH, even if it was £5 for the post, you get a brand new part from Porsche, not a used one that's as brittle as the one you broke?

I tihnk that under a tenner, delivered to your home, isn't too bad for a genuine 30-year-old part from Porsche!

Try Ben at Sutton Coldfield opc he rarely charges postage on small parts.

I've always used Exeter OPC (and they've been good to be fair) but might try Sutton Coldfield and Leicester in future.

I use Exeter for my parts and to date they have never charged to send parts and they give me a discount when i quote that i'm a member of the porsche club gb.

They've always charged me apart from once - but I'm not a member of pcgb, just the forum...

As it happens, I've got a new grille on the way for about 7 quid, so not a problem in this case!
