Temporary loss of power tiptronic s gen1

Experienced this twice lately on two separate occasions once just cruising down a hill after a 1hr journey and once again on a separate journey this time in cruise, both times very brief, seems to just blip out of power then back on. Dash lights all good too. No warning lights or anything. Not long ago had a gearbox service so fluids should be all good. Checked underneath and dry as a bone.

I had this on a Boxster, often happened when I was about to overtake, turned out to be the MAF sensor which I changed, no more problems.
 
Back again with the same issue, somebody has mentioned it could be the brake pedal switch? Any thoughts on this?
