Tempting...

My car has arrived at the opc. But I didn't ask for it 'till March 1st. So I can have it NOW. This is unfair - I was happy waiting (after all it's been the best part of a year since the 997 went) but now the seed has been sown. Grrrr []

There is a lot of salt and grit out there at the moment Peter. Wouldn't a March reg add a little to resale value at change time? Head versus heart difficult!!

I was in exactly the same situation 2 years ago Peter. (Crikey, where did those two years go?[&:]) Mine was in the dealership around about this time in Feb but I waited until the 1st March - the anticipation was almost.....well, better not say here[;)] Go on, wait another 3 weeks - the weather should be better and the countdown of days will be like Christmas all over again!

With the weather outlook and the new Reg I'd wait...[:)]

or shall we all have a day out to look at it [;)]

garyw

Any excuse for a day out looking at new motors. [:)]

Here's another couple of suggestions:-

a.) Insure it on the chassis number and use some trade plates 'til the end of the month OR
b.) I can lend you some foreign number plates (very handy for Gatsos) and crack on it's imported (or start speaking German) if you get stopped! [:D]

Just a thought! [8|]

Regards,

Clive.

Well thanks for the suggestions [;)][;)] visitors welcome!!

So had to have a look and popped in today - rather pleased if truth be told. Thanks to Paul at Swindon PC.

Also had a close look at a Speedster with a Paintshield front half wrap. Not convinced, too many film edges showing for my liking so will continue using chipex after the West Country run [:(]

Nice car, but strong money (£124k).

So, in conclusion I'm sitting on my thumbs and keeping the faith until March 1st, tempting though it is.
