Ive just had one fitted to my 'S' and im well impressed with it, I didnt have the electronics fitted as the valves as they sit are in the open position and it sound great [:D]

Its louder and raspier but not OTT, with the windows shut there is not a great deal of noise difference in the cabin.

And it gives me something else to polish [:D] [;)]

And it's a bt heavier, for that 911 feel[;)]

(Seriously. Nice! I ordered it when I specced it, but the car was built just before the August shut-down, and they cut back on the options available at that time of the year. Guess what they cut back on...? [&o] )

Very nice Elliot shame the standard car doesn't just come with the exhaust in the first place. I never realised you could fit the box only minus the complicated valve arrangement. Guess this must have greatly reduced the normal 5 hours fit time with the valves.... If you are like me the stereo will now be turned down on most journeys [;)]

Ah well DARO911,
If you ask Northways who supplied/fitted it they might tell you that it wasnt fun fitting, it took just under 4 hours to fit just the box itself, apparently it was a real pig getting the old one off.
I think your 5 hours may be on a new non rusted system !!

The valves are still attached at either side but arent controlled by anything, as it sits on the car now the valves are open and if you stick your head under and move the valve rod actuators either side of the silencer then the box goes quieter.
It isnt noisy, just a lot nicer deeper sound and looks the biz......... [:D]

I think you could be right . It took my local Rapid Fit guys 2.1/4 hours to remove my brand new standard box and fit my fab sounding Roock box.

I was quite impressed with the 2 hours odd because the old box was very hot whilst they removed it on one of our extremely hot summer days this year and dropping the PU would have made access much easier. Never the less they managed to do an exellent job in a reasonable time all for £50 too [;)]
