Enough is being said about the Ragley Hall event on other threads.

I just wanted to say thanks to Patrick who got there early to put up the R8 gazebo. It gave us a central point to meet fellow regional members. Thanks for directing traffic so we knew which direction to go in. This must have been a thankless task given that many people were well fed up by the time they got into the event. Thanks also to the other members who helped and took the gazebo down at the end of the day.

Thank you Patricia. I only managed to get the flag up. The gazebo is too difficult for one and Helen Larry and others put this up. I was already doing traffic duties by this time and I think I only moved 200yds in 7 hours. I am surprised I can still move my Right arm today.
Mistakes were made and lessons have been learned I have offered to help with the planning next year to try and improve things

No Problem Patrick, was glad to be able to help, we (the 914 team)ended up putting up about 4 gazebos, needed Geoff Ives experience to guide us through getting the first one(london region) right as all the part numbers have come off. []

think i'd be tempted to paint some sort of a code on them for the future.

Thanks for putting it up all! Came by a few times but didnt see anyone near it though []. Saw more of Patrick! Get some ice on that shoulder Patrick- sorry didnt get you an ice cream- couldn't find anywhere to buy one [:D][:D][:D]

Was going to offer help in taking it down about 4.00 but it had already gone down.

Craig

When I finally got back to the Gazebo about 3pm I found that the table and chairs that I had taken along had been thrown onto the grass in a makeshift barrier to stop people driving through. Thankfully no one had tried it or they would have been ruined. I was not amused so took everything down as a safety measure as I was not of ice there to look after it. Perhaps cloning is the answer and I can be in two places.
Ice cream would have been nice, thankfully I was organised and took rucksack with food and water.
