Just a short note to say thank you to Rob for organising an excellent day for the 997 register.

A tour around the Jaguar factory to see XK8 production (proving an interesting comparison to 911 production in Stuttgart), an excellent and very informative guided tour around the Jaguar Museum and the very pleasant hospitality and refreshments at Autobahn Porsche.

All in all, a very enjoyable day.

Indeed a great day out and what a wonderful guide at the museum, lots of interesting info that you don't normally get to find out.
CB was very interesting, I've not been to the Porsche factory so can't comment on the comparison...[&:]

I forgot about Autobahn after Browns lane[], I had to drop my companion off and it slipped my mind...

Yes, a very enjoyable day, informative and interesting but relaxed. The knowledge and helpful attitude of the tour guides both at the factory and the musuem was impressive.

One of the funniest moments was when the shift ended at 12.30pm on the dot, the workers from the production line all sprinted past us ....presumably in a race to get to the pub !

A great day, and many thanks Rob for all the effort you put in organising it all,
