Hi All,

It's been a fun 18 months of Porsche Ownership and chit chat on the forum I am selling up and taking a rest from owning such a car and the stress's that come with it and tomorrow I will no longer be a Porsche Owner.

But thanks to all for the entertaining chat and comments on the board. I'll remain a paid up member but as a car enthusiast as apposed to a brand enthusiast.

Enjoy the summer sun we have this week and drive carefully

Children, running a business, sports, watching the news, great cars..........you name it, an element of stress is an inevitable part of life. But, in the main, the rewards make it all worthwhile, and on days like like today Porsche ownership provides the perfect antedote for any stress.

Owning a Porsche was supposed to be the antedote to a stressful and busy 24x7 employment, business and lifestyle but has been the opposite. Looking forward to not running one for the next few months, quarters. There is no joy in driving a car that you've paid a load of cash on that just doesn't met the expectation of the marque.

Should add I had a load of hassle with a Turbo prior to the Boxster and then the Boxster had ongoing issue's and for me it's just to much hassle it shouldn't be like this at this price point. So I am getting out while I can get a good return and have a break from owning an expenisve sports car.
 
Who did you sell it to in the end, was it back to Porsche?
I'm considering ridding myself of mine too, although not for the same reasons, I love mine but just have other plans.

Hope you have a good de-stress and come back sooner rather than later.[:D]
 
Back to Porsche used a guy that Daro PM'd to me.

I had two bid's PM me and I'll mail you the other dealer that was interested I have to say not all the dealers call back [:)]
