Just a quick thanks you to everyone who came to Woodvale Rally today and helped make this a very successful event. Special thanks to the team who arrived on Saturday at 7.30am to assemble the Marquee and put up fencing, flag poles and bunting, in alphabetical order, Colin Appleton, Phil Clarke, Stuart Cookeson-Smith, David & Janice Delaney, Dean Easterby, Fred Hindle, Sue & Mac Macleod, and not to forget Judy Baker, who collated the buffet and helped with the admin, organised us all today.

Thanks to everyone who brought along food to make morning coffee, the extensive first class buffet lunch, and afternoon tea.

Special thanks to everyone who brought their cars to make this a mouth-watering display of cars.

Don't forget to put the dates in your diary for next year 4/5th August.

If anyone managed to get around the rest of the show, please send me some details, as I didn't manage to see much of what went on want and would like to write a full article for October's Porsche Post. Also if you have any images of the event, I will try and utilise these also.

Thanks again to everyone.

Just finished unloading the car, and looking forward to a very large malt, followed by an early night.

Tomorrow I start planning Woodvale 2007.

Regards

David

Thanks David - and all those listed in alphabetical order! What a great day, thoroughly enjoyable. You must have put a great deal of effort into organisation and the results were clearly visible. Roll on 2007!

What a great day,and so little effort went into it-------!!!
54 of the best cars in the world, 5 star food, flags, bunting, private loo, marquee, gazebo, banners,THE SHIRTS.............
what more do we have to do to win best club stand ?
However the competition all knew who had the best stand.
to most of us it became irrelevant any way because we had such a great two days .Serious thanks though to Fred for the race centre, Phil for the marquee, all members and their families for their support but most of all David and Judy for the massive effort they have put in to pull it all together. It was absolutely superb ! MUST try harder next year !!!!![:D][:D][:D]

My thanks to david and judy, fred and all the stalwarts for a great day out enjoyed by all the family...

have to say i was particularly impressed by the standard of marking in the show and shine!!![;)][:D][:D]

ORIGINAL: Fred Hindle

Your daughter would have cried if we hadn't let you win.[:)]

let me win????you bloody heathen hindle

I'll have you know it was a family affair that led to my undisputed victory

the wife plyed people with alcohol.....

laura helped with gentle 'encouragement'

and i used the threat of physical violence.....

all in all i think it was a good team effort by the heney's!!![:D][:D][:D][;)]

Cut the grass? or may be " Coup de Grasse".
It's a bit like "Cul de sac" except you CAN get out of it.And then again, there's those shirts.[:D]

Well actually Laura told me that if your car didn't win then you would cry being a mard a**e.
I was telling people to vote for the red car, obviously they voted for the wrong red car![:)]
And whats wrong with being a heathen? Thank God for atheism.
Cheers,
