I've found before that things stop working on cars that are not used... I try to run them up every couple of weeks, and use everything that moves to keep it moving... For example on one such occasion I had a window that hesitated to respond to the switch after a couple of months - it suddenly spring back into life and has been fine each time I have checked it since. I have affecting it wouldn't have been had it been left the entire winter.
Recently I have been giving the Turbo affectionately known as "Johnny" a run to keep everything moving. If it has been stood, I usually reckon it takes about 60 miles before it really loosens up again. I had noted the non-working clock-bulb with a degree of depression given the work involved in changing it. Tonight, after 204miles, it sprung back into life... Cue music!
Anyone else have tales of 944 self-repair?!
