Ok, this post is about PCGB members in and around Dundee - so let's get all of the jokes out of the way now about Dundee!!!
I live in Monifieth (7 miles E of Dundee in case you did not know), and as a new member I am really enjoying the forums etc. Everyone seemes like a good laugh and the advise is certainly forthcoming when asked for.
I have been in touch with John in R2 and plan on attending a members night soon but the meeting venue is about 60 miles form here. Likewise the bowl and curray night in R2 looks a great idea but again over 60 miles away. Now come the summer the blast in the cab to Stonehaven way will be a joy every month but in the winter - not so sure!
So what I would like to do is to find out if there are any other PCGB members in and around Dundee who might want to organise a get together over the winter in "the place in between". Curry sounds a good idea; brunch on a sunday - open to ideas.
Hopefully I am not offending anyone in either R1 or R2 by suggesting this but 60 miles on a cold frosty night on dark roads aint going to be music to by insurance company's ears - if you know what I mean!
Anyway as usual comments and ideas welcome.
